Cambodia's expanding digital economy needs skilled IT professionals — UP combines hands-on ICT training with a dedicated Science Research pathway under one Faculty.
ICT runs daytime classes in Years 1–2 and evening classes in Years 3–4, with Master's classes held on weekends — built around working students.
UP co-hosted the 2nd International Conference on Data Mining and Information Security, connecting students and faculty to global IT research.
Students take part in the EU-funded Erasmus+ programme, including a 2025 exchange cohort to Turkish partner institutions.
A partnership with Kyondong University in Korea supports exchange and collaborative study opportunities for UP students.
The Science Research degree offers five specialisations — Forensics, Bioscience, Chemistry, Food Quality, and Environment & Sustainability.
