On 16 March 2026, University of Puthisastra (UP) was delighted to host the opening ceremony to formally welcome professors and students of the Faculty of Medical Science from Juntendo University (JU) for the a two day Cross-Cultural Tour Visit and UP Laboratory Experience 2026.
The program is organized by the Relations and Partnerships Unit with the support of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Biotechnology in close partnership with Juntendo University.
The program brought together students from both institutions to share presentations on campus life, culture, and student experiences in Cambodia and Japan. The visit also included a cultural tour in Phnom Penh, including the Royal Palace, National Museum of Cambodia, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and Wat Phnom, allowing participants to explore the rich history and heritage of Cambodia. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the lecture and practical class at UP laboratory, co-organized by the UP professors and JU professors as well.
This meaningful exchange offered participants the opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen academic connections, and foster mutual cultural understanding.
